Overview:
The Diagnostic Report Data Processor is responsible for accurately entering, organizing, and validating medical diagnostic report data from laboratories, imaging centers, and clinical departments. The role ensures all diagnostic records are processed efficiently and stored in a structured, searchable format to support patient care and hospital reporting needs.
Scope of Work:
Enter and update diagnostic report details into hospital databases or spreadsheets.
Verify accuracy of patient identifiers, test results, and physician notes.
Clean up duplicate or incomplete diagnostic entries.
Organize diagnostic data by department, test category, and date.
Ensure all entries are legible, standardized, and compliant with medical data standards.
Generate a summary report showing the number of reports processed by test type and result category.
Maintain strict confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and hospital data policies.
