Project Overview:

Prepare a 1-page academic essay on the topic “The Impact of Trauma on Human Skeletal Remains: An Anthropological Perspective.” The essay should explore how forensic and physical anthropologists analyze trauma on bones to interpret causes of injury or death. It should also explain how skeletal trauma contributes to understanding violence, accidents, warfare, or cultural practices in both forensic and archaeological contexts.

Specific Requirements:

1. Abstract: Include an abstract of 150–200 words summarizing the essay’s key focus and findings.

2. Essay Length: The main essay should be 1 page (excluding the abstract and reference list).

3. Formatting: Follow APA format — 12-point Times New Roman, double-spaced, with 1-inch margins.

4. Sources: Include 2–3 credible academic or forensic anthropology sources with APA in-text citations and a reference list.

5. Content Focus:

   • Types of skeletal trauma: blunt force, sharp force, projectile trauma.
