Project Overview:
Write a 1-page academic essay on the topic “The Anthropology of Sport: Examining the Cultural Significance of Sports and Athletic Competitions.” The essay should follow APA format and analyze how sports function as cultural practices that reflect social values, identity, power relations, and community belonging. The discussion should explore how athletic competitions are intertwined with issues of nationalism, gender, economics, and globalization from an anthropological perspective.

Specific Requirements:

2. Essay Length: The main essay should be 1 page (excluding title page, abstract, and references).

3. Formatting: Use APA format -12-point Times New Roman, double-spaced, 1-inch margins.
